FPPC Chair Remke comments on SB 1349     

The FPPC has not taken a position on the bill. FPPC Chair Jodi Remke offers these comments:

“The FPPC has long advocated for a new, modern campaign and lobbying disclosure system. As Chair, I will devote all necessary Commission staff and resources to help make it happen as it is difficult to fulfill our important mission or advocate for reform under the current system. We will continue to work diligently to create a new filing system that ensures strict enforcement, provides meaningful disclosure, and enhances public trust.”
