Jonathan Sharkey, a member of the Port Hueneme City Council, made a governmental decision on November 9, 2015 in which he had a financial interest. Sharkey voted to approve the 2015-2016 city budget and Capital Improvement Program which included funding for park improvement projects at two parks located within 500 feet of Sharkey’s residence.
