Quality Education in Support of Recall Lorona, Orosco, Lopez was a committee primarily formed to support a recall of three Selma Unified School District Board members on the November 3, 2015 General Election ballot in Fresno County. Sara Rodriguez was the Committee’s treasurer. Harpreet Purewal, Frank Hoyt, and John Hoyt were the Committee’s principal officers. The Committee, Rodriguez, Purewal, and the Hoyts accepted cash contributions of $100 or more, in violation of Government Code Section 84300 (1 count); and failed to timely disclose the receipt of nonmonetary contributions, in violation of Government Code Section 84211 (1 count).
