Women of Long Beach is a general purpose committee. Gary Crummitt served as the Committee’s treasurer. Nadia Tushnet served as the Committee’s principal officer. The Committee, Crummitt, and Tushnet failed to timely file two semi-annual campaign statements, in violation of Government Code Section 84200 (2 counts), failed to timely file three pre-election campaign statements, in violation of Government Code Section 84200.5 (3 counts), failed to timely file one 24-Hour Report, in violation of Government Code Section 84204 (1 count), and failed to timely file two verification of 24-Hour Reports, in violation of Government Code Section 84213 (2 counts). The Committee, Crummitt, and Tushnet also failed to timely report subvendor payments, in violation of Government Code Section 84211 (1 count), and failed to keep adequate records for the 2020 calendar year, in violation of Government Code Section 84104 (1 count). Certain violations are eligible for a Warning Letter and are included in the streamline stipulation as a $0 penalty. Chief Discretion was used in this matter to have counts 5 through 8 be eligible for a $0 penalty.
