Wright was a successful candidate for Yuba County Board of Supervisors in the June 5, 2018 Primary Election, but unsuccessful in the November 6, 2018 General Election. Alton Wright for Supervisor 2018 was his candidate-controlled committee. The Committee and Wright failed to timely file three 24-hour contribution reports, in violation of Government Code Section 84203 (3 counts), and failed to timely and properly disclose the required occupation, employer and street addresses on a pre-election campaign statement for the reporting period of January 1, 2018, through April 21, 2018, in violation of Government Code Section 84211 (1 count).
