Coalition to Preserve LA, sponsored by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Yes on S, was a primarily formed ballot measure committee created to support Measure S, which appeared on the ballot in the March 7, 2017 Special Election. Michael Weinstein, Peter Reis, and Gerard Kenslea served as the Committee’s principal officers. The Committee, Weinstein, Reis, and Kenslea failed to print “Paid for by” and disclose the name of the Committee on a billboard advertisement, in violation of Government Code Section 84504, subdivision (c) (1 count).
